Fr. Gerard Gentleman is a priest of the Diocese of Rockville Centre ordained in June of 1997. He has served as Pastor of St. Rose of Lima parish in Massapequa, NY since 2021 His previous assignments are: Pastor, Holy Family Parish, Hicksville, Chaplain of Holy Trinity Diocesan High School in Hicksville, NY. and associate pastor of St. Kilian parish in Farmingdale. Fr. Gentleman serves as the National Chaplain of the National Catholic Committee on Scouting and is the Former Director of the St. George Trek at Philmont Scout Ranch for NCCS. He served as chaplain of the Diocesan Committee on Catholic Scouting, chairman of the Diocese of Rockville Centre's Belong More Deeply Committee and as a member of the Diocesan College of Consultors, the Presbyteral Council and Education Commission. Fr. Gentleman holds both a Master of Divinity and Master of Arts in Theology from the Seminary of the Immaculate Conception, Huntington, NY. He earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts Degree in Theatre Arts Performance from the State University of New York College at Fredonia
