This Monday evening 14 parishioners and I embarked on a 10 day pilgrimage to the Holy Land Ten days sounds like a long time, but we used 2 days just to get here.
Our 11 hour flight from New York to Tel Aviv was followed by a few hours getting through passport control and then a 2 hour bus ride north to Tiberias. It was all worth it just to get our first glimpse of the Sea of Galillee.
We look forward to the adventures ahead as we begin all of our visitations tomorrow. One significant highlight will be the celebration of mass at the Church of the Beatitudes. It is my intention to offer mass for our new president (if known) and our nation.

Please pray for us and know that you will be in our prayers.
